Vinyl Flooring

What can you expect to see from vinyl flooring?

When you visit a vinyl flooring store to see three versions, each more advanced than the other, all of them are affordable, stylish, waterproof, durable, low maintenance, and uncomplicated to install.

Sheet vinyl

Sheet vinyl comes in six or 12 foot wide rolls, which means you don't deal with seams. The no-seams sheet also makes it a good choice for the bath since there's no place for water to seep through. Installation is typically glue-down but can sometimes be loose lay, where the sheet hovers over the subfloor. Vivid colors and patterns range from chevrons and herringbones to florals.

Luxury vinyl: Who says grandeur can?t be affordable?

This is an affordable, premium product with a thickness that is five times that of sheet and has 100% waterproof capability. It is entirely impervious to liquid, whether submerged (in an appliance flood) or spilled on.

Inspired by nature, true-to-life images of wood, stone, and tile, taken with digital photography, include micro beveling and embossing to add depth, dimension, and textured looks. Sometimes professionals have trouble telling a vinyl floor from the real thing.

It can be cut into planks to mimic hardwood boards or groutable squares to echo stone and tile and be installed as a floating floor, which is clicked, mat, and hover.

Waterproof flooring: even more advanced than luxury vinyl

Thicker still and even more durable, this offers the highest level of moisture protection. It uses the WPC (wood plastic composite) or SPC (stone plastic composite) cores that are so technologically advanced they won't peel or ripple ever, no matter how much water there is or for how long. This has all the style of the luxury version, and it, too, can be installed as a floating floor.
